Can't See the Forest for the Trees, 2000
Installation with fabric, found objects and natural wood
. This installation was created in the front display windows of the Fine Arts Museum of Long Island and incorporated and mass of naturally bleached stalks from the Devil's Clutch Tree. The stalks are adorned with elements fashioned from sewn materials and various fibers to create symbolic representations of the human form which appear to march past the viewer when viewed from the street.
